The Nur is an 855mm rectangular LED semi-flush ceiling light built around a continuous loop of illuminated acrylic that extends from a brown oxide metal ceiling plate. The integrated 40W LED inside the frosted white diffuser emits 3200 lumens at 2800K warm white across a 120° beam angle, washing the ceiling and surrounding walls with soft ambient light.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights, the semi-flush mounting positions the looping form 290mm below the ceiling, giving architectural presence without the drop length of a pendant. The warm oxide finish suits earthy, natural and contemporary interiors, and the sculptural geometry works particularly well in open-plan spaces where the fitting is viewed from multiple angles. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a suitable trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer (sold separately), allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for reading and task lighting down to lower ambient levels for relaxed evening use.

What ceiling height is required?

The fitting projects 290mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.2-2.3m ceilings the fitting may feel visually dominant depending on room size and layout.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering LED failure. The rated lifespan of the LED module is typically 25,000-30,000 hours, equating to approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 5-6 hours per day.

What's the actual light output in real terms?

At 3200 lumens and 2800K warm white, the Nur provides ambient light equivalent to approximately four traditional 60W incandescent bulbs. The 120° beam angle spreads the light across the ceiling and upper walls rather than directing it downwards, so it works best as ambient lighting rather than task lighting.
