Description

The Mantra Nur is a 180mm diameter LED table lamp built around a continuous curved ribbon of silver-finished aluminium that twists vertically from a circular base to form a sculptural arc. The inner surface of the ribbon is lined with frosted polycarbonate that diffuses light from an integrated 15W LED strip running the length of the form. Polished chrome detailing edges the ribbon where it meets the base, adding a reflective accent to the otherwise soft metallic silver finish.

Designed as ambient rather than task lighting, the Nur suits bedside tables, living room console surfaces, hallway credenzas and office reception desks where a softer decorative light is wanted. The 1200lm output at 3000K delivers warm white light across a 120° beam angle, casting a diffuse glow onto surrounding surfaces rather than a directed pool of light. At 280mm tall and weighing just 370g, the lamp sits comfortably on smaller side tables without dominating the surface.

The aluminium ribbon construction gives the lamp its curved form without visible seams or joints, while the frosted polycarbonate prevents direct LED glare when viewed from any angle. The silver finish works across contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors, pairing with both warm timber furniture and cooler concrete or steel surfaces. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V mains, drawing 15W at steady state.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 15W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches or controllers.

What surface does it need?

The circular base has a 180mm diameter footprint and weighs 370g. It sits stably on flat surfaces including bedside tables, console tops and desks. The silver finish may show fingerprints on high-gloss surfaces.

Can the ribbon be rotated or adjusted?

No. The ribbon form is fixed in position. The lamp is designed as a sculptural piece with a set orientation rather than an adjustable task light.

How is the aluminium finish maintained?

Wipe the silver aluminium with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks or fingerprints, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the finish.
