Description

The NovaLite is a 200mm square flush ceiling and wall light with an integrated 11W LED delivering 3000K warm white light through an opal plastic diffuser. The body is powder-coated aluminium in a matt black finish with rounded corners and a low 200mm projection from the wall or ceiling, creating a compact profile that suits rooms with restricted clearance.

Designed for corridors, bathrooms (dry zone only — IP20 rating), offices, and residential spaces needing ambient ceiling illumination, the NovaLite mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or wall back box. The reflected light emission directs output away from the centre before it passes through the opal diffuser, distributing light evenly across the surface without visible hotspots or glare. The 11W LED output provides enough illumination for a hallway, en-suite bathroom, or small bedroom without requiring additional fittings.

The matt black powder-coated finish resists fingerprints and surface marks better than gloss finishes and pairs with both contemporary minimal interiors and industrial-influenced colour schemes. The aluminium construction keeps the weight down while providing structural rigidity for wall mounting. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation before replacement, reducing maintenance frequency compared to traditional bulb-based flush fittings.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The NovaLite carries an IP20 rating, which means it is not protected against moisture ingress. It can be used in a bathroom only in dry zones (zone 3 or outside the zones), typically more than 600mm from a bath or shower. It cannot be installed above a bath, in a shower enclosure, or within splash zones.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 11W LED is non-dimmable and operates at full output on standard 230V mains switching. Connecting it to a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage to the driver circuit.

Can it be fitted to both walls and ceilings?

Yes. The NovaLite is designed as a dual-function fitting and can be mounted either flush to a ceiling rose or onto a wall back box. The 200mm square footprint and reflected light emission work equally well in either orientation.

What size room does it suit?

The 11W 3000K LED output suits rooms up to approximately 6-8m² as primary ambient lighting (small bathrooms, en-suites, hallways, cloakrooms). For larger spaces it works well as secondary or accent lighting alongside other fittings.
