Description

The NovaLite is a 15cm diameter round LED ceiling or wall light with a powder-coated black aluminium body housing an integrated 9.5W 3000K LED behind an opal plastic diffuser. The reflected light emission design directs light up into the diffuser first, then outward, creating even ambient coverage without visible point-source glare or hard shadows.

Designed for hallways, landings, cloakrooms, en-suites and stairwells where ceiling height is limited or a compact fitting is needed, the NovaLite mounts flush to the surface with minimal projection. The 15cm footprint fits above narrow doorways, in alcoves and on bedroom ceilings where larger fittings would dominate the space. The fitting can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted with the same back plate.

The black powder-coated finish provides a low-sheen, non-reflective surface that reads as deep charcoal rather than glossy black, pairing comfortably with matt black ironmongery, dark timber and industrial or contemporary interiors. The opal diffuser softens the LED output to a warm white ambient glow, suitable for circulation routes and secondary spaces that need functional lighting rather than decorative focus.

Can the NovaLite be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at 9.5W, 3000K.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The NovaLite carries an IP20 rating, which means it is not protected against moisture ingress and is not suitable for installation in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It can be used in areas of the bathroom outside the defined zones, such as a ceiling position more than 60cm from a bath or shower enclosure, but for most bathroom installations a fitting with IP44 or higher is recommended.

How is it mounted?

The back plate fixes directly to the ceiling or wall with screws into a standard ceiling rose or fixing point. The mains cable connects inside the back plate, and the diffuser and aluminium cover then clip over the top, concealing the fixings. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

What is the light output?

The 9.5W integrated LED provides warm white 3000K light output suitable for ambient and task lighting in compact spaces. The reflected emission design and opal diffuser distribute the light evenly across the room rather than creating a bright central spot, making it comfortable for circulation areas and secondary rooms.
