Noon 9 Light Glass Pendant Light - Antique Gold

The Noon is a 450mm spherical pendant light built around a central antique gold hub with nine E14 bulb holders radiating outwards in a sputnik formation, each surrounded by clear glass tubes and droplets. The glass elements alternate between cylindrical tubes and tapered droplets, creating a layered three-dimensional structure around each light source.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Noon provides both ambient light through the nine bulb positions and decorative presence through the glass arrangement. The 1837mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 587mm minimum on installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a table surface or raised for ceiling mount in lower rooms. The antique gold finish on the metalwork provides a warmer tone than polished brass, with a slightly textured surface that catches and diffuses light from the bulbs.

Each glass tube and droplet is hand-assembled onto the brass frame, so minor variations in positioning occur between individual pendants. The clear glass allows light to pass through and refract across the multiple surfaces, creating shadow patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings when lit. The combined weight of the metal frame and glass elements totals 5.5kg, requiring a ceiling rose and fixing rated for at least double that load. The antique gold canopy and suspension rods continue the same finish as the central hub, maintaining visual continuity from ceiling to pendant body.

Does the Noon come with bulbs?

No. The pendant requires nine E14 small Edison screw bulbs rated at 40W maximum each, sold separately. Most users pair this with LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) at 4-6W per bulb for ambient dining or living room lighting.

Is the drop height adjustable?

Yes. The pendant can be installed anywhere between 587mm minimum drop and 1837mm maximum drop, adjusted during installation by shortening the suspension rods and cable. This allows it to work in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible, but requires dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly — check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

How is the glass cleaned?

Switch off the circuit and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each glass tube and droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the glass or allowing moisture near the bulb holders. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the glass or antique gold metalwork.
