Description

The Nerissa is a 2-light crystal wall light built on a polished chrome backplate with a curved white fabric shade and cascading strands of octagonal cut crystal droplets. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the shade, casting diffused light upward and outward while the crystals below catch and refract the light into soft prismatic highlights across adjacent wall surfaces.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living room accent walls, the Nerissa provides ambient wash light without the footprint of a floor lamp or the installation depth of a sconce with a large shade. The 160mm projection from the wall and 320mm width suit spaces with clearance constraints, including corridors, alcoves beside fireplaces, and either side of a bed headboard. The polished chrome finish pairs with both warm-toned and cool contemporary interiors.

The white shade uses a textured woven fabric that softens the light output and hides the bulbs from direct view when the fitting is mounted at or above eye level. The crystal droplets hang in vertical strands from the base of the chrome frame, suspended on fine wire that allows them to move slightly in air currents. The fitting weighs 1.3kg when fully assembled, requiring solid wall fixings into brick, block or timber studwork rather than plasterboard-only fixings.

Yes, if fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and wired to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no dimmer built in, so dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs and wall switch used.

What wall fixings are needed?

The fitting weighs 1.3kg and requires solid fixings into brick, block or timber studwork. Use appropriate wall plugs and screws for your wall type — plasterboard-only fixings are not sufficient for the combined weight of the fitting and crystals.

Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystal strands are threaded onto fine wire and can be carefully unhooked from the chrome frame for dusting or cleaning. Wipe crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then allow to air-dry fully before re-hanging.
