Description

The Nardini is a 50cm three-light chandelier combining polished chrome metalwork with black faux leather-wrapped arms and crystal cube accents at each lampholder. Each of the three curved arms extends from a central column wrapped in stitched black faux leather, culminating in a chrome lampholder set atop a faceted crystal cube that catches and refracts light from the bulb above.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nardini provides ambient lighting across a space approximately 3-4m wide. The adjustable drop runs from a minimum 520mm to a maximum 1520mm, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-800mm above a dining table or adjusted higher for hallway installation. Three E14 bulbs (sold separately) give flexibility to choose candle-style filament bulbs for a traditional look or flame-tip LEDs for a contemporary interpretation.

The black faux leather is hand-wrapped and stitched around each arm and the central column, giving a textile texture that contrasts with the high-polish chrome fittings and chain. The crystal cubes below each lampholder are cut with bevelled edges that throw small prismatic reflections onto surrounding surfaces when the bulbs are lit. At 3kg, the chandelier carries enough weight to feel substantial without requiring reinforced ceiling roses. The chrome finish pairs with both warm-toned interiors (where it acts as a cooler accent) and monochrome schemes (where it reinforces the black-and-silver palette).

Is the Nardini dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no built-in dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs you choose.

What bulbs does it take?

Three E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers choose either candle-style LED filament bulbs at 4-6W for a traditional look, or flame-tip LEDs for a more contemporary aesthetic.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 520mm minimum drop suits ceilings of 2.4m or higher when the chandelier is hung above a dining table at the typical 700-800mm clearance. For hallway installation the drop can be extended to 1520mm to fill taller voids.

How is the faux leather maintained?

Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the material or using household sprays. The stitching is sealed, but prolonged moisture exposure can degrade faux leather over time.
