Description

The MagPro is a handheld programming tool for addressable fire alarm detectors and protocol devices, featuring a built-in MAGPRO-DB standard base, LCD display and six-button control interface. The unit allows installers to configure device addresses, sensitivity settings and operational parameters directly at the device location without needing a laptop or panel access.

Designed for fire alarm installation and commissioning, the MagPro runs on either mains power or four 1.5V AA batteries (sold separately), giving flexibility to work in live systems or pre-installation testing environments. The integrated base accepts standard addressable detectors, allowing the device to be placed in the base, programmed via the LCD menu system, then removed and installed on-site with settings retained.

The programming cable connects the MagPro to compatible fire alarm panels for firmware updates and data transfer. The LCD screen displays current settings, address ranges and confirmation prompts, while the six-button interface (Esc, Up, Down, Modify, Right, Enter) navigates menus without needing external software. At 0.61kg net weight, the unit is portable enough for scaffold work and ceiling installations.
