Description

Magni is a table lamp in white. A large round magnifying head ringed in bright metal, carried on a long white sprung arm that folds at a central knuckle like a drawing-board lamp. A hinged white cover flips back off the lens and shields it when the lamp is not in use. The lens sits in a lit ring, so the work under it is thrown into even light from every side. The arm is a pair of flat white struts with polished springs and bright pivots at every joint, and it ends in a screw clamp that grips a desk edge. The white is matt and everything that moves is bright metal. It measures 22cm across and 76cm tall, in aluminium and metal.

It is a lamp for a side table, a desk or a bedside, close enough to reach the switch from where you sit, and it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa reads as deliberate where one alone reads as an afterthought, and two smaller lamps light a room more evenly than one large one.

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy and none to fit. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries an F energy label.
