Description

A slim linear head for the Magneto magnetic track system, this one throws a soft, continuous line of light from a COB LED rather than a single bright point. The tone is warm white at 2700K, the kind of colour that suits living rooms and evening kitchens far better than anything cooler. At 250mm it reads as a short bar, low and neat against the track, and the black body keeps it visually quiet. The driver is built in, and the head dims when paired with a triac dimmer.

We reach for linear heads like this where a row of spots would look fussy or cast too many shadows: above an island, along a shelf run, over a worktop, or washing a hallway wall. Because it shares a track with spots and pendants, you can mix pools and lines of light on one circuit and move the heads about later as furniture shifts. It suits anyone planning a scheme in stages rather than committing to fixed positions from the start.

The black finish runs the full length of the housing, including the diffuser face, so the fitting almost disappears into a black track and stays discreet against a dark ceiling. Dust it now and then with a dry cloth once the power is off and the fitting is cool, and keep sprays and solvents away from the diffuser. It is intended for dry, heated rooms indoors. It carries a three year warranty.
