Description

The Madison is a 1.02m table lamp built around a pyramid-shaped putty patina base, a central metal stem decorated with K9 cut crystal droplets, and a cylindrical cream fabric shade. Gold leaf accents appear on the ornamental elements that connect the base to the stem and the stem to the shade finial. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, or side tables in living rooms where a tall decorative lamp is needed, the Madison combines ambient light through the fabric shade with decorative sparkle from the crystal clusters. The 200mm width keeps the footprint small enough for most bedside tables, while the 1.02m height gives the lamp presence on a console or dresser. The putty patina finish on the base and shade is a warm off-white with subtle texture, pairing well with cream, beige, taupe and soft grey interiors.

The K9 cut crystal droplets hang in clusters around the central stem between the base and shade, catching light from the bulb above and reflecting it as small points of sparkle into the surrounding room. The pyramid base provides stability and visual weight, balancing the height of the lamp without needing to be overly wide. The gold leaf detailing on the ornamental metalwork adds warmth and ties the putty patina elements together without overwhelming the design.

What bulb does the Madison take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedside or living room lighting.

Is the lamp suitable for a bedside table?

Yes. The 200mm width fits most bedside tables, and the 1.02m height positions the bottom of the shade at approximately 700-750mm above the table surface, which works well for reading in bed when the bulb is fitted with a warm-white LED.

How is the crystal attached?

The K9 cut crystal droplets hang on metal pins from the ornamental element around the central stem. They are fixed in place during manufacture and are not intended to be removed or repositioned.

Can the shade be cleaned?

The cream fabric shade can be dusted with a soft brush or vacuumed gently using an upholstery attachment. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric. The putty patina base and crystal can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth.
