Description

The LYYT T connector is a solderless junction piece for joining 10mm single colour COB LED strip in a T-shaped configuration. The connector body is made from transparent polycarbonate with internal copper contacts that crimp onto the strip's copper pads, eliminating the need for soldering. Each connector measures 45 x 28 x 5mm and weighs 4g.

Designed for installations where a single run of LED strip needs to branch into two directions, the T connector suits under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting and architectural accent lighting where branching circuits simplify cable runs and reduce the number of power supplies needed. The transparent body maintains the continuous light appearance of COB (chip-on-board) LED strip, where individual LEDs are not visible. To fit, align the copper contact pads on the cut strip end with the copper contacts inside the connector, insert the strip into the slot, and press the crimp tab down to hold the strip securely.

The connector is compatible with LYYT single colour 10mm COB LED strips including Cool White (156.665UK), Warm White (156.666UK) and Very Warm White (156.668UK). The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. Pack of 5 connectors supplied, suitable for projects requiring multiple branch points across a strip lighting installation.

No. This connector is designed specifically for single colour 10mm COB LED strips. RGB and RGBW strips require multi-contact connectors to carry separate colour channels.

No. The connector uses a crimp mechanism. Align the copper pads on the cut strip end with the copper contacts inside the connector, insert the strip, and press down the crimp tab to secure.

Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is not protected against moisture or water ingress. It is suitable for dry indoor locations only.
