Description

The LYYT single colour COB flexible link is a solderless connector for extending or cornering 10mm single colour COB LED strip. Each connector features two crimp-fit terminals joined by a 150mm twin-core wire (red and black), allowing COB strip runs to navigate corners, doorways or gaps without hardwiring. The crimp terminals slide over the copper pads on COB strip and lock in place without solder or screws.

Designed for residential and commercial COB LED strip installations, the flexible link suits kitchen under-cabinet runs where the strip must turn a corner, stair nosing projects where strip runs are interrupted by balusters, and cove lighting installations where individual strip sections need to be connected across joints or angles. The 150mm wire length allows enough slack to route the cable neatly behind architraves or into recesses. The connector is IP20 rated, making it suitable for indoor dry locations only.

Each link weighs 2.7g and measures 160mm end-to-end when laid flat, with the crimp terminals adding 11mm width and 6mm height to the strip profile once fitted. The connector is compatible with all LYYT single colour COB strips including warm white (156.666UK), very warm white (156.668UK) and cool white (156.665UK). For RGB COB strip installations, use the separate RGB flexible link (156.657UK). Supplied in packs of 5.

What COB strip is this compatible with?

The connector fits 10mm wide single colour COB LED strip from LYYT, including warm white (156.666UK), very warm white (156.668UK) and cool white (156.665UK). It is not compatible with RGB COB strip. Use the RGB flexible link (156.657UK) for that application.

How is the connector fitted?

Cut the COB strip at the marked cutting point, slide the crimp terminal over the exposed copper pads on the strip end, and press the terminal closed to lock it in place. No soldering is required. Repeat at the other end of the wire to join two strip sections.

Can this be used outdoors?

No. The connector is IP20 rated and suitable for indoor dry locations only. Outdoor COB strip installations require IP65 or IP67 rated strip and connectors.

How many connectors are in the pack?

The pack contains 5 flexible link connectors, each with a 150mm wire length between terminals.
