Description
The LYYT single colour COB connector joins two 10mm single colour COB LED strips without soldering, using a press-fit design that aligns the strip's copper contacts with internal metal pins. The transparent plastic housing allows the COB strip's continuous glow to pass through the connector uninterrupted, avoiding the dark gap that traditional connectors create between strip sections.
Designed for under-cabinet lighting, retail display installations, cove lighting and architectural accent runs where maintaining an unbroken light line matters, the connector works with LYYT 10mm single colour COB strips including Cool White (156.665UK), Warm White (156.666UK) and Very Warm White (156.668UK). Installation involves opening the hinged top, inserting each strip end so the copper contacts align with the connector pins, then pressing the top closed to secure. No tools or soldering equipment needed.
The IP20 rating means the connector is for indoor dry-location use only and not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor application. Each connector measures approximately 20mm long and 12mm wide, small enough to fit inside most aluminium LED strip profiles and tight installation gaps. The pack of 5 covers multiple joins in a single installation or provides spares for future modifications.

Frequently Asked
What COB strips are these compatible with?
These connectors fit LYYT 10mm single colour COB LED strips including Cool White (156.665UK), Warm White (156.666UK) and Very Warm White (156.668UK). They do not work with RGB, RGBW or dual-colour COB strips which require different connector pin configurations.
Can these be used outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating means the connectors are for indoor dry-location use only. For outdoor or damp-location COB strip installations you need IP65 or IP67 rated connectors with sealed housings.
Do the connectors create a visible gap in the light?
The transparent housing minimises the visual gap. Some interruption is visible when you look directly at the strip, but from typical viewing angles the COB strip's diffused glow passes through the connector housing and maintains a near-continuous light line.
How are they fitted?
Open the hinged top, insert each COB strip end so the copper contacts on the strip align with the metal pins inside the connector, then press the top closed. The pins pierce through to the copper contacts and hold the strips in place. No soldering or crimping needed.
