Description

The LYYT Professional Single Colour Flexible Link is a 150mm solderless connector for joining or extending 10mm single colour LED strip lighting. Each link uses snap-fit connectors at both ends of a 2-core wire (red for positive, black for negative), allowing LED tape sections to be connected without soldering equipment. This pack contains five links.

Designed for corners, gaps between tape runs, and extending strips across obstacles where continuous tape cannot run, the 150mm cable length allows the link to navigate typical cabinet corners, alcove edges and display case joints. The snap connectors grip the copper pads on the LED strip and lock with a plastic clip, holding the connection mechanically rather than relying on adhesive or solder. This makes installation faster and allows links to be repositioned or replaced without damaging the tape.

The links are rated IP20, matching standard indoor LED tape, and suit retail lighting, under-cabinet kitchen lighting, display cases, vehicle interior lighting and architectural accent installations where single colour LED strip is used. Each link weighs 3g and measures 165 x 15 x 5mm including the connectors. The 2-core construction supports single colour tape only. RGB or RGBW tape requires a different connector type.

What LED tape width do these fit?

These links fit 10mm single colour LED tape. The snap connectors are sized for the standard 10mm tape pad spacing and will not fit 8mm or 12mm tape without modification.

Can these be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the links are not protected against water ingress and should only be used indoors in dry locations. For outdoor LED tape installations, use IP65 or IP67 rated connectors and tape.

Do I need to solder these to the LED tape?

No. The snap connectors grip the copper pads on the LED tape mechanically. Align the connector over the pads at the end of the tape, press down, and close the plastic clip to lock the connection.

Can these connect RGB or RGBW tape?

No. These are 2-core links for single colour tape only. RGB tape requires a 4-core connector (common positive + red, green, blue), and RGBW requires a 5-core connector. Using a 2-core link on RGB tape will result in only one colour channel functioning.
