Description

The LYYT LED desk lamp combines a flexible gooseneck stem with a touch-sensor base housing 14 SMD LEDs behind a plastic diffuser. The lamp outputs 160 lumens at 5500K cool white and can be powered via the supplied USB lead (5Vdc, 500mA) or four AAA batteries (not supplied), making it suitable for desks without nearby mains sockets and for travel use.

Designed for task lighting on desks, bedside tables and workbenches, the lamp offers three brightness levels controlled by short-pressing the touch sensor on the base. A long-press activates a separate yellow nightlight built into the base itself, which casts a warm ambient glow suitable for low-light navigation without the main LED head being on. The flexible rubber gooseneck allows the head to be positioned at any angle, directing the 110° beam onto keyboards, notebooks or work surfaces.

The white plastic construction keeps the lamp light at 112g, and the compact 110 x 100mm base footprint suits narrow desk edges and bedside tables. The 14 LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours average lifetime, equivalent to approximately 17 years of use at 8 hours per day. The 5500K colour temperature gives a neutral to cool white light that pairs well with screen-based tasks and detailed reading.

Short-press the touch sensor on the base to cycle through three brightness levels on the main LED head. Long-press the same sensor to activate the separate yellow nightlight built into the base, which provides low ambient light without using the main LEDs.

Can it run on batteries alone?

Yes. The lamp accepts four AAA batteries (not supplied) as an alternative to the USB power lead. This makes it portable for use in locations without USB sockets or during travel.

Is the gooseneck adjustable?

Yes. The flexible rubber gooseneck can be bent and positioned to direct the 110° beam onto any surface within reach. It holds its position once set and can be re-adjusted as needed.

What colour temperature is the main light?
