Description

The LYYT 90° arc profile mounting clips are ten clear polycarbonate brackets designed to fix LYYT curved aluminium LED profiles to walls, ceilings and cabinet interiors. Each clip has a right-angled base and a curved upper section that matches the outer radius of the 90° arc profile, gripping the channel without visible fixings once the profile is clipped into place.

Used in recessed strip lighting installations where the LED channel follows a curved surface. Alcoves, arched ceilings, curved worktops, architectural features. The clips are positioned along the profile at approximately 300-400mm intervals before the LED strip and diffuser are added. The clear polycarbonate becomes invisible once the profile is installed, leaving only the lit effect visible.

Each clip fixes to the mounting surface with a single screw or double-sided tape (not included), then the aluminium profile snaps onto the curved upper section. The clips are specific to LYYT 90° arc profiles and will not fit flat, 45° or 120° profile variants. Ten clips in a pack typically support a 3-4m curved profile run depending on the tightness of the radius and the weight of the profile.

No. The clips require a single screw or strong double-sided tape per clip to fix them to the mounting surface. Screw type depends on the surface material. Wood, plaster, metal or concrete.

What profile do these fit?

These clips are specific to LYYT 90° arc aluminium LED profiles. They will not fit LYYT flat profiles or other arc angles (45°, 120°). Check the profile part number before ordering to confirm compatibility.

How many clips are needed per metre?

Typically 3-4 clips per metre of curved profile, positioned at 300-400mm intervals. Tighter radius curves or heavier profiles may need closer spacing for stability.

Can the clips be painted?

The clips are clear polycarbonate and designed to remain invisible once the profile is installed. Painting them is possible but not recommended as it negates the clear finish and may affect the clip's ability to grip the profile securely.
