Description

Our LYYT COB LED tape gives you a continuous line of light with no visible spots. The COB (chip on board) design packs 528 tightly spaced LEDs per metre under a phosphor coating, which blends the individual diodes into one even array. The result is a smooth glow that works well anywhere a clean, uninterrupted line matters, from shelf edges to display units.

The strip runs on 24Vdc and draws 14W per metre, with a current of 583mA per metre. It comes on a 50m reel and can be cut to length along the marked points at 45mm intervals. Self-adhesive backing on the back means you can fit it without extra clips or channels in most cases. The tape is flexible and light at 1.5kg for the full reel, with a slim 10 x 2mm cross-section and a wide 160° beam angle. We don't recommend installing lengths of more than 10m in a single run.

This is the cool white version with a high colour rendering index of Ra>90, so colours look true under it. That makes it a sensible choice for hospitality, retail, offices, displays and exhibitions. This version carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is for indoor use only and should be kept away from moisture. In the US this product is often called LED tape or LED strip; both terms refer to the same thing.
