Lyria 7 Light Cluster Pendant Light - Brass

The Lyria is a 7-light cluster pendant built around seven hand-blown glass globes, each containing fine aluminium wire threaded through the interior of the glass to create an internal lattice pattern. The globes hang from individual brass-finished cables that converge at a circular brass ceiling canopy, forming a 600mm-diameter cluster approximately 200mm tall when the cables are at their shortest drop.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living areas where a central focal point is needed, the Lyria requires ceiling heights of 2.4m or above to allow the recommended 700-800mm clearance above a table surface. Each globe houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately), giving a combined maximum load of 7 bulbs. The pendant is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing the intensity to be adjusted for ambient or task lighting.

The blown glass globes are clear and smooth on the exterior, with the aluminium wire decoration visible inside the glass rather than applied to the surface. This internal lattice creates fractal shadow patterns when the bulbs are lit, projecting fine lines onto walls and ceilings. The brass finish on the canopy, cable sleeves and lamp holders provides a warm metallic accent that works in both contemporary and classical interiors. Each globe varies slightly in wire pattern due to the hand-blown manufacturing process.

The 1100mm cable length allows for adjustment during installation, so the fixture can be raised or lowered to suit room proportions. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only — the Lyria is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installations or areas exposed to moisture.

What bulbs does the Lyria take?

The Lyria uses seven E27 Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most installations pair this with 6-8W warm-white LED bulbs at 2700K-3000K to balance ambient light output with running cost. The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What size table does it suit?

The 600mm diameter cluster works over dining tables between 1200-1800mm long or kitchen islands of similar length. The pendant should hang 700-800mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.4m once the 200mm fixture height and cable drop are accounted for.

Is the wire decoration inside or outside the glass?

The aluminium wire is threaded through the interior of each blown glass globe during manufacturing, not applied to the exterior surface. This internal placement protects the wire from dust and handling, and creates shadow patterns when the bulbs are lit.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 1100mm cables can be shortened during installation to suit the room height and desired drop above the table or surface. Once the cables are cut to length, they cannot be lengthened again without replacing them.
