Description

The Lucia is a 762mm flush ceiling light with six E27 bulb fittings, arranged inside a burnished silver drum frame decorated with faceted crystal droplets in a sunflower-shaped Bauhinia pattern. A glass diffuser sits beneath the bulbs, distributing light evenly downwards, while a linen fabric shade wraps the inside of the drum to soften the output and reduce glare.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights below 2.4m, the Lucia provides ambient illumination without requiring drop height. The 273mm overall fitting height from ceiling to bottom of diffuser sits close to the ceiling surface, making it suitable for rooms where a pendant or chandelier would hang too low. The burnished silver finish has a warm, aged-metal tone that pairs with both traditional oak and walnut furniture and cooler grey or white contemporary schemes.

The crystal droplets are set into an openwork metal framework around the perimeter of the drum, creating a decorative band that reflects and refracts light when the fitting is switched on. The combination of the linen shade, glass diffuser and faceted crystals means the Lucia provides both functional room lighting and decorative sparkle, without the intensity of exposed bulbs. The six E27 sockets accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each, giving flexibility to control brightness and colour temperature depending on the room's use.

Is the Lucia suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The fitting sits 273mm below the ceiling surface when installed, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards. Unlike pendant lights, there is no additional drop to account for.

What bulbs does it take?

The Lucia takes six E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient glow in bedrooms and living rooms.

Can the crystals be cleaned?

Yes. The crystal droplets can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystals or using chemical cleaners.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. If you fit dimmable LED or halogen bulbs, the Lucia can be controlled by a compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not work with a dimmer.
