The Lucia is a 64cm five-arm chrome chandelier with frosted glass tubular shades, each housing a G9 bulb on an articulated curved arm that extends from a central polished chrome hub. The fitting can be installed as a traditional drop chandelier with the full suspension stem, or converted to semi-flush mount by removing sections of the stem, reducing the drop to approximately 38cm from ceiling to lowest point.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Lucia provides ambient and decorative light across a 3-4m space when installed as a chandelier, or a 2.5-3m space in semi-flush configuration. The polished chrome arms radiate from the central body in a balanced arrangement, with each frosted glass shade angled slightly downward to direct light both outward and down onto surfaces below. The horseshoe detail at each arm joint adds visual weight to the structure without dominating the overall appearance.

Each G9 bulb sits inside a frosted tubular shade approximately 100mm tall, diffusing the light to reduce glare and create a soft wash across ceilings and walls. The five bulbs are included with the fitting and are rated at up to 40W each, giving a total potential output of 200W across all five lamps. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The 2.8kg weight requires fixing into a ceiling joist or a suitable ceiling anchor rated for the combined weight of the fitting and bulbs.

Yes. The Lucia comes with five G9 bulbs rated at up to 40W each. These are standard halogen capsule bulbs and can be replaced with LED G9 bulbs if you prefer lower energy consumption and longer bulb life.

Can it be fitted in rooms with low ceilings?

Yes. The suspension stem is adjustable and can be shortened or removed entirely to convert the fitting to semi-flush mount, reducing the overall drop to approximately 38cm. This makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.4m.

Is the Lucia dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible, but dimming requires dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the lighting circuit. If you install non-dimmable LED G9 bulbs, the fitting cannot be dimmed regardless of the dimmer switch.

What ceiling fixing is needed for the 2.8kg weight?

The Lucia must be fixed into a ceiling joist or a ceiling anchor rated for at least 5kg. The ceiling rose backplate is approximately 100mm diameter and conceals the fixing once installed. If your ceiling is plasterboard without accessible joists, use spring toggle anchors or cavity fixings rated for the weight.
