Description

The Love is a 3 light wall light built around hand-crafted glass and resin elements mounted on a polished chrome backplate. Three substantial teardrop-shaped glass pieces, each filled with glossy white resin, fan out from a central chrome mounting point. The glass is hand-formed, so each piece shows slight variation in shape and thickness, and the resin fill creates depth when the three G4 bulbs inside illuminate the structure.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways where the wall can accommodate a fitting with 200mm projection and 350mm height, the Love functions as both ambient and accent lighting. The three G4 bulbs (sold separately, 20W max each) sit inside the glass-resin elements, creating a soft diffused glow through the opal white resin while the clear glass edges catch and reflect the polished chrome frame. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a trailing edge dimmer and compatible G4 LED or halogen bulbs.

The polished chrome frame provides a high-gloss metallic accent that pairs with contemporary, art deco and transitional interiors. The hand-crafted glass and resin combination gives each fitting a sculptural presence on the wall, with the three elements arranged asymmetrically to avoid a rigid linear appearance. What bulbs does the Love wall light take?

The fitting takes three G4 capsule bulbs, maximum 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. G4 LED bulbs (typically 2-3W) are recommended for lower heat output and longer life than halogen equivalents.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a trailing edge dimmer and dimmable G4 bulbs. Not all G4 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check bulb specifications before purchasing if dimming is required.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 2kg, the fitting requires secure wall fixings appropriate to the wall type. On solid masonry or brick, use plugs and screws rated to 5kg minimum. On plasterboard, locate a stud or use heavy-duty plasterboard fixings rated to the fitting weight plus safety margin.

Does the glass and resin vary between fittings?

Yes. Each glass element is hand-crafted, so slight variation in shape, thickness and resin distribution is expected. This is a characteristic of hand-formed glass, not a defect.
