The Lemuria is a 267mm pendant light with a dual-mount fitting that installs either as a height-adjustable pendant (286-1200mm drop) or as a semi-flush ceiling light with a 286mm total projection. The frame is finished in textured gold with a Grecian key motif band running around the circumference, paired with an ivory white linen drum shade and an internal opal diffuser. A single E27 bulb inside (sold separately) casts light downwards and outwards through the diffuser and shade.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where ceiling height varies or where flexibility is needed on installation, the duo-mount system uses a stem rod that can be assembled to different lengths or removed entirely to sit the fixture close to the ceiling. The semi-flush configuration suits rooms with 2.3-2.5m ceiling heights where a full pendant drop would hang too low, while the adjustable pendant mode works in spaces with 2.7m or higher ceilings where the light needs to sit 700-900mm above a dining table or sideboard.

The gold finish on the metal frame has a granular texture that softens reflections under daylight and pairs with warm-toned interiors, traditional furniture and brass or bronze hardware. The ivory linen shade diffuses the light evenly while maintaining enough brightness for task areas directly beneath the fitting. The Grecian key pattern adds decorative detail without overwhelming the overall form, which remains compact enough for smaller rooms and entrance halls.

The duo-mount system allows the Lemuria to be installed either as a height-adjustable pendant (using the supplied rods to achieve a 286-1200mm drop) or as a semi-flush ceiling light (removing the rods to sit the fixture 286mm from the ceiling). The configuration is set during installation and cannot be changed without removing the fitting and reassembling the rod system.

What bulb does it take?

The Lemuria takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting, or higher output if task lighting is needed beneath the fitting.

What ceiling height works best for each mode?

Semi-flush mode suits rooms with 2.3-2.5m ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low. Pendant mode works in rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings, particularly over dining tables or hallway consoles where the light needs to sit 700-900mm above the surface.

Can the ivory shade be cleaned?

The ivory linen shade can be dusted with a soft microfibre cloth or gently vacuumed with a brush attachment on low power. For more stubborn marks, spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, avoiding soaking the fabric. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on linen.
