Description

The Leimo is a 6-light semi-flush ceiling light built on six curved polished chrome arms that radiate from a central hub, each arm terminating in a faceted crystal sphere enclosing a G9 bulb fitting. The crystal spheres are constructed from individual clear glass beads arranged in a lattice pattern, refracting light at multiple angles when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the 170mm drop from ceiling to lowest point keeps the fitting close enough to the ceiling to avoid head clearance issues in standard-height rooms while the 590mm diameter provides coverage for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms between 12-20m². The curved chrome arms distribute the six light sources evenly across the diameter, avoiding a central hotspot and creating more uniform ambient light than a single-point pendant.

The polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and artificial light, giving the fitting a bright, reflective presence that suits contemporary and transitional interiors. Each of the six G9 fittings accepts bulbs up to 33W (sold separately), with total output dependent on bulb choice — most users pair the Leimo with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light with lower running costs. The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting with lower energy consumption than halogen equivalents.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 170mm drop from ceiling to lowest point makes the Leimo suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m, as the fitting sits close to the ceiling plane and does not hang low enough to cause head clearance issues.

Can the Leimo be dimmed?

The fitting itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains power before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe the chrome arms and crystal spheres. For stubborn marks on the crystal, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fittings or using spray cleaners near the bulb sockets.
