The Kristy is a single-light mini pendant with a compact opal glass shade held in a distressed gold frame. The glass carries a soft, cased finish that spreads light evenly rather than leaving a hard glare, while the gold has a gently worn look that keeps it feeling relaxed instead of shiny. It is a small fitting, so it works as a single point of light or in a row where you want a lighter, more open feel above a surface.

This is an interior pendant and suits kitchens, hallways, dining spaces and bedrooms. A single one looks at home over a breakfast bar or a bedside, and two or three hung together earn their place above a longer island or dining table. Because the drop can be set anywhere across a wide range using the rods supplied, you can hang it low over a worktop or higher in a room with more headroom. We include a mix of rods to help you get the height right.

The frame is made from steel and resin, with a cased opal glass shade in the gold finish. It is rated Class I and runs on mains voltage, and the fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps if you pair it with a dimmable bulb and a suitable dimmer. It takes one E27 bulb up to 40W, and the bulb is not included, so you can choose the look you prefer. Colour temperature depends on the bulb you fit, whether you want a warm or cooler light. To care for it, switch the power off and wipe the metal and glass with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid sprays and abrasives, which can mark the finish. The pendant is covered by a two year guarantee.
