Kos 4 Light Crystal Pendant Light 20cm - French Gold

The Kos is a 200mm crystal pendant light built around a slender cylindrical frame in French gold, densely wrapped with octagonal crystals. Four G9 bulbs sit inside the cylinder, each rated up to 33W, casting light through the faceted crystals to create refraction and sparkle. The French gold finish is a warm-toned metallic that sits between brass and rose gold, giving the frame a softer, more antique appearance than polished brass or chrome.

Designed for dining tables, hallways and kitchen islands with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Kos provides both task and decorative light. The 550-1500mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher for entrance halls and double-height spaces. The 200mm diameter makes it compact enough to work over smaller round or square dining tables (up to 1.2m wide) without dominating the space.

Each octagonal crystal is individually mounted onto the frame, creating a dense, textured surface that catches ambient daylight and reflects internal bulb light once switched on. The cylinder is approximately 350mm tall, giving the pendant a vertical presence rather than a squat profile. At 2.5kg the Kos requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting chandelier-weight fittings. The crystals are clear K9 optical glass, not acrylic, so they retain clarity over time and can be cleaned without scratching.

What bulbs does the Kos take?

The Kos takes four G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 33W. Bulbs are not included. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm white light. G9 bulbs are available separately at Niori.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Yes, the fitting itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LEDs are dimmable — check the bulb specification before purchasing.

What size dining table does it suit?

The 200mm diameter works over round or square tables up to approximately 1.2m wide. For larger rectangular tables (1.6m+), consider pairing two Kos pendants or choosing a larger diameter pendant from the Diyas range.

How are the crystals cleaned?

The octagonal crystals are K9 optical glass. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household glass cleaners, which can leave residue on the French gold frame.
