The Knightsbridge Wi-Fi smart plug is a compact 57mm x 56mm polycarbonate plug adapter that adds remote control and energy monitoring to any mains-powered device drawing up to 13A. The plug connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) and operates via the SmartKnight or Smartlife smartphone apps, allowing on/off switching, scheduling and real-time power consumption monitoring from anywhere with an internet connection.

Designed for table lamps, phone chargers, coffee machines, fans, and other plug-in appliances, the smart plug fits into standard UK 13A sockets and responds to voice commands via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri Shortcuts. Automated schedules can be set to switch devices on or off at specific times — useful for turning off entertainment systems overnight, switching on a bedside lamp before you arrive home, or cycling Christmas lights without manual intervention.

The integrated energy monitoring feature displays real-time wattage and cumulative consumption within the app, helping identify high-draw devices or phantom loads. The plug itself draws just 0.3W on standby when the connected device is switched off. The compact 57mm diameter means it can fit into recessed sockets or behind furniture without blocking adjacent outlets in a twin socket arrangement.

The white polycarbonate construction carries IP20 ingress protection, making it suitable for dry indoor locations only — not bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or outdoor use. The plug is rated for 230V 50Hz mains at up to 13A (3,000W maximum load).
