Description

The Knightsbridge LWB90 is a 190W LED low bay light delivering 12,800lm of 5500K daylight-white light through an opal polycarbonate diffuser in a pressed steel white housing measuring 630mm x 325mm x 53mm. The fitting uses SMD LED technology with an efficacy of 161lm/W and includes a constant current 0-10V dimmable driver as standard, plus two suspension hooks and two 1-metre chains for ceiling mounting.

Designed for commercial, industrial and warehouse environments with ceiling heights of 3-6 metres, the low bay provides wide-angle illumination across work areas, loading bays, retail stockrooms and factory floors. The 85-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across a wide footprint, reducing the number of fittings needed to achieve adequate lux levels compared to narrower-beam alternatives. The 0-10V dimming protocol allows integration with compatible lighting control systems for occupancy-based or daylight-harvesting dimming strategies.

The opal diffuser softens the light output and prevents direct glare from the SMD LED array, making the fitting suitable for installation in areas where staff work directly beneath the light source. The pressed steel construction carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor environments, and the Class I earthing provides standard electrical safety. Is this low bay dimmable?

Yes, the fitting includes a 0-10V dimmable driver as standard. You will need a compatible 0-10V dimmer control — standard household triac dimmers will not work with this driver type. The fitting is not compatible with mains-voltage phase-cut dimming.

What ceiling height is this suitable for?

Low bay fittings are designed for ceiling heights of 3-6 metres. Below 3 metres, the light may be too intense for comfortable working; above 6 metres, a high bay fitting with a narrower beam and higher output is typically more appropriate.

What's included in the box?

The fitting is supplied with the LED array and 0-10V driver pre-installed, plus two suspension hooks and two 1-metre chains for ceiling mounting. Surface mount brackets, PIR sensors and microwave sensors are sold separately as optional accessories.

Can it be surface-mounted instead of suspended?

Yes, but you will need to purchase the optional surface mount bracket accessory separately. The bracket allows the fitting to be fixed directly to the ceiling without using the suspension chains.
