Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate is a screwless steel plate finished in smoked bronze, designed to accommodate custom euro-module inserts for TV, data, HDMI, USB, telephone and AV connections. The plate accepts either two 25x50mm euro-modules side-by-side or a single 50x50mm euro-module, giving flexibility to configure media outlets, networking points and charging sockets in one location.
Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installations where multiple low-voltage connections need to be grouped together, the modular faceplate works with standard euro-module inserts from Knightsbridge and compatible ranges. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed. The integrated gasket between the plate and sub-frame provides a secure fit and helps seal against dust ingress.
The smoked bronze finish is a dark metallic tone that sits between black and bronze, providing a contemporary alternative to polished or brushed brass finishes. The premium-grade steel construction gives the plate rigidity and a consistent surface texture. The 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted keeps the plate low-profile, making it suitable for rooms where wall plates need to sit flush with the surrounding plaster or tiling.

Frequently Asked
What euro-modules does this faceplate accept?
The 2-gang plate accepts either two 25x50mm euro-modules fitted side-by-side, or a single 50x50mm euro-module. Common uses include HDMI, coaxial TV, CAT5e/CAT6 data, USB charging, telephone sockets and 3.5mm audio jacks. Euro-modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture behind the faceplate.
What back box depth is required?
The required back box depth depends on the euro-module inserts being used. Most low-voltage modules need a 25mm minimum depth, while modules with cable management or bulkier connectors may require 35mm or 47mm. Check the specification of the specific euro-module before installation.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The smoked bronze cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the outlet and re-clipped without re-wiring or disturbing the euro-modules.
What other finishes are available in this modular range?
Knightsbridge produces modular faceplates in a range of finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, antique brass, matt black and white. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.
