Description

The Knightsbridge FLHL100 is a 100W LED floodlight delivering 15,390 lumens at 4000K through an integrated SMD LED array behind a clear diffuser. The die-cast aluminium housing carries IP66 weatherproofing and IK08 impact resistance, making it suitable for outdoor installations in harsh environments including chlorine-rich areas such as swimming pools, water treatment plants, and industrial sites.

The floodlight is designed for wall mounting, pole mounting or ground installation using optional bracket accessories (sold separately). The 115° beam angle provides wide flood coverage for building facades, car parks, sports fields, and perimeter security lighting. The separated LED driver and array architecture extends the rated life to L70B10 of 110,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 25 years at 12 hours per night operation.

The black die-cast aluminium body measures 270mm wide by 241mm high by 60mm deep, with a tilt-adjustable mounting bracket and 1.5m of pre-installed cable terminated in a junction box connection. The 149.5 lm/W efficacy and CRI >70 provide efficient cool white output for functional outdoor lighting where high colour accuracy is not required. Optional symmetric and asymmetric lenses (sold separately) can be fitted to modify the beam pattern for specific applications — the asymmetric 55x125° lens pushes light forward and downwards when the floodlight is mounted near-horizontal, reducing light spill into neighbouring properties and upward glare.

Can this floodlight be used in chlorine environments?

Yes. The die-cast aluminium housing and internal components are specifically designed to resist degradation in chlorine-rich environments, making the FLHL100 suitable for swimming pools, water treatment facilities, and similar installations where standard outdoor lighting would corrode prematurely.

What mounting options are available?

The floodlight includes a tilt-adjustable bracket for wall mounting. Optional pole top and pole clamp brackets are available separately for installation on columns or ground-mounted poles. See the Knightsbridge accessories range for compatible mounting hardware.

Is the light output dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The floodlight operates at full 15,390 lumen output when powered.

What is the L70B10 rating?

L70B10 of 110,000 hours means that after 110,000 hours of operation, 90% of a population of these floodlights will still emit at least 70% of their original lumen output. At 12 hours per night, this equates to approximately 25 years of service life before noticeable lumen depreciation.
