Description

This IP65 LED strip to strip connector joins two sections of 12V or 24V single colour 10mm LED flex in a straight line, maintaining electrical continuity without soldering. The polycarbonate housing carries an IP65 rating, protecting the connection against water jets and dust ingress in kitchens, bathrooms, and partially sheltered outdoor installations.

The connector uses a click-fit mechanism that grips both strip ends inside the housing via spring-loaded brass contacts. Strip the adhesive backing from the last 10-15mm of each LED flex end, insert each strip into the corresponding slot on the connector, and press until the click confirms contact. No tools are required for installation. For additional waterproofing in IP65-rated runs, silicone sealant (sold separately) can be applied along the entry points where the flex enters the connector housing.

Designed for use with Knightsbridge LFC24IPxx single colour LED flex series, the connector measures 26mm in length, 15mm in width and projects 7mm from the mounting surface once installed. The black polycarbonate finish blends into most LED flex backing tapes and mounting channels, reducing visibility in final installations.

The connector is designed for Knightsbridge LFC24IPxx series single colour 10mm LED flex running on 12V or 24V. It will not fit RGB or RGBW strips, which require four-pin connectors.

Does it maintain the IP65 rating?

Yes, when correctly installed. For full IP65 protection in wet environments, apply silicone sealant along the entry points where the LED flex enters the connector housing.

Can this be used outdoors?
