Description

The Inina is a 2 light crystal wall light built on a French gold-plated metal frame with cascading strands of octagon-cut crystal beads and larger diamond-cut crystal prisms hanging from a two-tier structure. An integrated rocker switch on the backplate allows the fitting to be controlled independently of the mains circuit, useful where wall switches are awkward or absent. Two E14 bulb holders sit behind the crystal veil, and the bulbs (sold separately) light through the faceted crystal to create refractions across the surrounding wall.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where decorative wall lighting adds depth and ambient light without ceiling fittings, the Inina projects 170mm from the wall and measures 280mm wide by 290mm tall. The two-tier frame means crystal hangs at different heights, giving the fitting visual movement when the air circulates. The French gold finish is a warm, slightly aged gold tone rather than a high-polish yellow gold, pairing well with heritage interiors, classical schemes and warm-toned contemporary rooms that use brass or bronze accents.

Each crystal element is individually hung on the frame, so there is some assembly required on installation — the prisms and beads typically arrive packed separately and are threaded onto the frame hooks before the fitting is mounted. The total weight including all crystal is 2.3kg, requiring secure wall fixings into masonry or a stud behind plasterboard. The crystal can be cleaned periodically with a dry microfibre cloth; for deeper cleaning, individual prisms can be removed, wiped with slightly damp cloth, dried, and re-hung.

The switch is an on/off rocker switch mounted on the backplate. To enable dimming, use dimmable E14 bulbs and install the fitting on a dimmer-controlled circuit, or use a plug-in trailing-edge dimmer if the wall light runs from a plug socket.

Does the crystal come pre-assembled?

No. The crystal prisms and octagon beads typically arrive packed separately and are individually hung onto the frame hooks during installation. This protects the crystal in transit and allows damaged elements to be replaced without returning the entire fitting.

How is the crystal maintained?

Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, individual prisms can be unhooked, wiped gently with a barely-damp cloth, dried thoroughly, and re-hung. Avoid soaking the crystal or using household sprays, which can leave residue that dulls the facets.
