Description
A wide round disc for the ceiling, 53cm across and shallow in depth, finished in a warm wood effect. The LED and its driver are built in, and the supplied remote handles switching as well as dimming, so no wall dimmer is needed. Colour temperature moves with it too, from a warm domestic white up to a crisp cool white, so one fitting can read cosy in the evening and brisk in the morning. Full output is 2500 lumens.
We reach for this where a pendant would hang too low: landings, hallways, bedrooms under sloping ceilings, a sitting room with low beams. It spreads light broadly rather than dropping a tight pool, so it can serve as the main light in a medium sized room without much help from table lamps. The tuneable white suits rooms that do two jobs, a spare bedroom that doubles as a study, or a kitchen table used for homework as often as supper. It also earns its place in a home office, where cooler light helps at the desk. Anyone who dislikes reaching for a switch will get on with the remote.
The body is rigid and light to lift, with the wood effect carried evenly across the face. Dust it now and again with a dry microfibre cloth, working out from the centre, and keep polish and sprays away from the light emitting surface. The LEDs are integral, so there is nothing to swap out over its life, and it carries a three year warranty. We stock the same size in black and white, and the range goes on to a larger diameter and to a model with a built in reversible fan if you want air movement as well as light.

Frequently Asked
How bright is it, and what does it draw?
It gives 2500 lumens from a 56W integrated LED, which is enough to act as the only light in most medium sized rooms.
Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes. The remote tunes it anywhere between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white, and dims it at any of those settings.
Do I need a separate dimmer switch?
No. Dimming is done from the handset supplied with the fitting, so a plain wall switch is all that is required.
What are the dimensions and weight?
It measures 530mm in diameter with a height of 130mm, and weighs 1.8kg.
Are the LEDs replaceable?
They are integral, rated for around 30,000 hours of use, so no lamps are bought or fitted separately.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 and belongs in dry rooms such as bedrooms, hallways and living rooms.
