Description

The HDview IP dome deep base is a grey aluminium mounting accessory designed to extend the mounting depth for compatible HDview IP dome cameras. The base measures 130mm diameter by 44mm depth and provides a 25mm cable entry point for routing camera cables cleanly through the mounting surface.

This base is specified for use with the HDview H512VDG and H512VDGA 5-megapixel IP dome cameras when the mounting surface requires additional cable routing space or when the camera needs to be set proud of the surface. Common applications include mounting to masonry walls where cables run internally through the brickwork, installing onto surface-mount conduit boxes, or fixing to ceilings where the existing back box depth does not accommodate the camera's cable connection.

The aluminium construction offers corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor installation, and the grey powder-coat finish matches standard grey CCTV housings and electrical accessories. The base adds 44mm of standoff height between the mounting surface and the camera body, creating enough clearance for standard RJ45 Ethernet connectors and power cables to exit through the 25mm aperture without sharp bends.
