The Glenbeigh is a 440mm outdoor wall light built from black corrosion-proof polymer with an opal polycarbonate globe diffuser. The polymer housing resists saltwater corrosion and UV degradation, making it suitable for coastal installations and exposed positions. An E27 socket inside the globe accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), and the IP44 rating confirms protection against splashing water and dust ingress from any direction.

Designed for entrance porches, garage exteriors, garden walls and pathway lighting where a traditional lantern silhouette suits the architecture, the Glenbeigh mounts on a wall bracket that projects 320mm from the wall surface. The 270mm-wide globe provides 360-degree light distribution once fitted with an omnidirectional bulb, casting soft illumination through the opal diffuser without harsh glare. The polymer construction is impact-resistant and lighter than die-cast metal alternatives, simplifying installation on rendered or timber-clad walls.

What bulb does it take?

The Glenbeigh uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K for porch or pathway lighting.

Can it be used in wet locations like directly under a gutter outlet?

The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, but not direct water jets or submersion. Install the fitting under an overhang or where it will not be directly hit by gutter overflow.

How is the globe removed for bulb changes?

The opal polycarbonate globe separates from the base housing via three retaining clips. No tools are required to access the bulb holder once the globe is unclipped.
