Gianna 4 Light Chandelier - Gilded Silver

The Gianna is a 413mm diameter chandelier with four E14 candle-style lamp holders arranged on curved gilded silver arms, each arm supporting a crystal drip pan beneath the bulb. Hand-cut crystal droplets hang from the central cage and from swag chains linking the arms, while aged mirrored glass panels set into the frame add depth and vintage texture to the structure.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and formal living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Gianna sits 520mm from the ceiling at minimum drop and can be extended to 2065mm on installation using the adjustable chain. The 413mm spread suits rooms between 12-18m² where a decorative centrepiece is needed without dominating the space. The chandelier requires four E14 bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately) — most users pair it with warm-white LED candle bulbs to complement the gilded finish.

The gilded silver finish is hand-painted over the metal frame, giving a soft antique patina rather than a high-gloss metallic sheen. The aged mirrored glass panels are deliberately distressed to match the aesthetic of early 1900s Italian glasswork, where mirror silvering was applied less uniformly than modern production. What bulbs does the Gianna take?

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop from ceiling to the bottom of the chandelier is 520mm. For dining tables, the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The chain can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings.

Is the mirrored glass meant to look aged?

Yes. The aged mirrored glass panels are deliberately distressed to match the aesthetic of early 1900s Italian craftsmanship, where mirror silvering was applied less uniformly than modern production. This is a design feature, not a defect.

How is the crystal cleaned?

For routine cleaning, wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or letting water run into the metal fittings. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the gilded silver frame.
