Description

The Freida is a 50cm diameter crystal chandelier with six E14 bulb fittings inside a grey organza drum shade, suspended from a polished chrome canopy and chain. Crystal beads cascade from the chrome drum rim in vertical strands, terminating in slim hexagonal drops that hang below the shade edge. The organza fabric diffuses light from the six bulbs into a soft, even glow while the crystal catches and reflects the internal illumination.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living spaces where diffused ambient light is needed, the Freida suits ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. The adjustable drop ranges from 1040mm minimum to 2000mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be set at 700-800mm above a dining table in standard-height rooms or lowered further in double-height spaces. The 500mm diameter fits comfortably above tables seating four to six people without overwhelming the space.

The grey organza shade provides a neutral backdrop that works across both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, while the polished chrome frame adds reflective contrast against the fabric. Each of the six E14 fittings accepts bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and energy consumption. The crystal strands are hand-strung and the hexagonal drops are individually wired, so assembly on-site involves hooking pre-wired strands onto the drum frame rather than threading individual beads.
