Description

The Fort is a 1080p WiFi pan-and-tilt indoor security camera with 355° horizontal pan, 180° vertical tilt, and motion tracking that follows movement across the room. The camera records to microSD card (sold separately) with no subscription fees or cloud storage charges, and streams live 1080p HD video to iOS or Android devices via the Fort app over 2.4GHz WiFi.

Designed for home security, baby monitoring, and pet observation, the camera mounts on a shelf, side table or windowsill with the grey rubberised base providing grip on smooth surfaces. The 140° wide-angle lens gives room coverage without needing to pan, while the motorised pan-and-tilt function allows remote control of the view via the app. Motion detection triggers automatic tracking, rotating the camera to follow detected movement and recording the event to the microSD card.

The camera includes 3-5m infrared LED illumination for night vision in complete darkness, automatically switching between day and colour night modes based on ambient light levels. Two-way audio allows live conversation through the camera's built-in microphone and speaker, useful for checking in on children or speaking to delivery personnel. The white-and-grey housing measures 115mm wide, 77mm deep and 120mm tall, with a micro-USB port on the rear for power (USB power adapter included in box).

Frequently Asked

Does it require a subscription for recording?

No. The Fort records to a microSD card inserted into the camera (card sold separately, maximum capacity varies by model). There are no monthly fees, cloud storage charges or subscription requirements. All footage is stored locally on the card.

What WiFi does it support?

The camera connects to 2.4GHz WiFi networks only. It does not support 5GHz WiFi bands. Most home routers broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so ensure your phone or tablet is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup.

How far can the infrared night vision see?

The infrared LEDs provide visibility between 3-5 metres in complete darkness. Beyond 5m the image becomes progressively darker. The camera automatically switches to infrared mode when ambient light drops below a threshold.

Can the camera be used outdoors?

No. The Fort carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is designed for dry indoor environments only. It is not weatherproof and should not be exposed to rain, humidity or condensation.
