Description

A single circuit track head finished in black, with the LED and its driver built into the body, so it is ready to light the moment it locks onto the track. It draws 20W and puts out 2200 lumens of cool white at 4000K, a clean, brisk white that keeps whites white and shows detail honestly. Output is fixed rather than dimmed, so it comes on at full strength every time.

Track suits rooms where the lighting needs to move with the furniture, and this is the sort of head we reach for on a kitchen run, over an island or along a worktop, and in home offices and studios where cool light helps with close work. Shops and galleries use it the same way, aimed at shelving, artwork or a display bay. Because each head is compact, several can sit along one length of track without the ceiling looking busy. We would space them evenly and let the run do the work rather than mixing in other fittings.

The body is a plain barrel on a slim stem, and the black keeps it quiet against a dark track or reads as a deliberate line on a pale ceiling. It is double insulated and intended for dry indoor rooms, running from an ordinary household circuit. To clean, switch the power off at the wall, let the head cool, then wipe it with a dry cloth; skip sprays and polishes, which mark the finish. It carries a five year warranty. Can this track light be dimmed?

No, it is non-dimmable. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 20W and 2200 lumens, so it should be wired to a plain switch rather than a dimmer.

What sort of track does it fit?

It is designed for single circuit track. If your track carries multiple circuits, choose one of the three circuit heads in the Fiji range instead.

How big is the head?
