The Fabio is a 71cm crystal chandelier built around a polished chrome frame wrapped in double-layered Asfour octagon crystal droplets, designed to convert between suspension and semi-flush mounting. Six G9 bulb fittings sit within the two-tier crystal curtain, which forms a shallow wave shape rather than a traditional circular ring. The 710mm width and 380mm drop when semi-flushed give the fitting a wide, low-profile silhouette that works in spaces where a traditional drop chandelier would overwhelm.

Designed for dining rooms, large living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Fabio's dual mounting options allow it to be fitted as a close-to-ceiling semi-flush in lower rooms or suspended 500-770mm from the ceiling rose in taller spaces. The polished chrome frame reflects light off the crystals back into the room, multiplying the output of the six G9 bulbs (sold separately) and creating broad, even light distribution across a 4-5m space.

Each Asfour crystal is precision-cut with multiple facets that catch and refract light into prismatic colour flashes when viewed from different angles. The double-layer arrangement creates depth and visual complexity, with the second layer partially obscuring the bulbs themselves to reduce glare while still allowing the light to pass through. The polished chrome finish maintains its reflectivity without tarnishing, though fingerprints will show during installation and should be wiped clean with a microfibre cloth before switching on. The 3.5kg weight requires a secure ceiling rose fixing and the wiring is concealed within the central stem.

The chandelier takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair it with 4-5W LED G9 bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white for general ambient lighting, or choose dimmable G9 LEDs for adjustable output.

Can it be fitted as both a suspension and semi-flush?

Yes. The Fabio ships with a telescopic stem that allows suspension drops between 500mm and 770mm from the ceiling rose, or can be fitted in semi-flush configuration where the 380mm crystal body sits closer to the ceiling. The mounting method is chosen during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth, or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Do not use glass cleaners, polishes or sprays as residue will attract dust. The polished chrome frame should be wiped in the same way.

What ceiling height does it need?

When semi-flush mounted the fitting projects 380mm from the ceiling, which works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. When suspended it requires a minimum ceiling height of around 2.6m to avoid head clearance issues, and suits ceiling heights up to 3m depending on the drop length chosen.
