Description

The ESP MagDuo is a 2-wire resettable manual fire alarm call point in a 120mm square red housing, designed for surface mounting in commercial fire alarm systems. The unit includes a built-in end-of-line function that allows it to monitor the circuit continuity without requiring separate EOL resistors, simplifying installation on 2-wire addressable or conventional fire alarm panels.

Designed for corridors, stairwells, exits and other escape routes where building occupants need to manually trigger the fire alarm, the call point sits at the standard 1.4m height above finished floor level. The resettable mechanism allows the call point to be reset using a key after activation, avoiding the need to replace frangible elements each time the alarm is tested or triggered. The red housing with white pictogram markings provides high visibility against most wall finishes.

The 120mm x 120mm footprint and 70mm projection from the wall allow the call point to be surface-mounted directly onto plasterboard, masonry or cavity walls without recessing. The IP21C rating provides protection against solid objects above 12.5mm diameter and vertically dripping water, making it suitable for indoor use in dry areas. The device base is supplied with the unit and includes the terminal connections for the 2-wire loop.
