Description

The Emberara is a 3 light crystal wall light built on a circular gold metal backplate from which cascades a curtain of rectangular and triangular cut glass prisms in varying lengths. Three E14 bulb holders sit behind the crystal layer, directing light through the glass to produce refracted sparkle and reflected ambient glow. The backplate measures 300mm in diameter and the prisms project 450mm from the wall, creating a substantial decorative presence suitable for larger wall spaces.

Designed for hallways, bedroom feature walls and living room alcoves where decorative lighting serves as both task and accent, the Emberara provides mid-level illumination when fitted with 40W equivalent E14 bulbs (sold separately). The gold metal frame reflects warm-toned light back into the room, complementing both classical and contemporary interiors where metallic finishes are already present. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor locations only—bathrooms, kitchens near sinks and outdoor covered areas are not suitable.

The layered crystal construction uses a mix of straight-cut prisms and multi-faceted pendants, with the longer pieces hanging at the outer edge to create a tiered curtain effect. When lit, light refracts through the angled faces of each prism and casts small rainbow reflections onto adjacent walls and ceilings. The gold finish on the frame is applied to steel, giving the fitting a robust 2.8kg weight that requires solid wall fixings—plasterboard alone will not support the unit without cavity anchors or backing board.
