Description
The Emberara is a 3-light crystal wall light built around a polished chrome backplate measuring 300mm across, with cascading vertical crystal droplets that project 450mm from the wall. Three E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit within the crystal cluster, refracting light through the cut glass prisms and casting scattered reflections across adjacent wall surfaces.
Designed for hallways, dining rooms and bedroom feature walls where decorative wall lighting adds both ambient light and visual interest, the Emberara works particularly well in pairs flanking a mirror or fireplace, or as a supporting piece alongside a central chandelier. The 450mm projection means the fitting needs clear wall space of at least 600mm to avoid collision with furniture or door swings. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry interior locations only.
The crystal droplets are cut K9 optical glass arranged in graduated lengths to create a tiered cascade effect. The polished chrome finish on the metal backplate provides high reflectivity that amplifies the sparkle from the crystals when the bulbs are lit. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing brightness to be adjusted for different times of day or occasions.
Ideal Lux manufactures the Emberara in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty. The wall bracket mounts to a standard UK back box or wall plate and the crystal elements are pre-assembled, so installation involves fixing the bracket, connecting the wiring and positioning the crystal cluster over the bulb holders.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Emberara take?
The fitting takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-shaped LED bulbs between 4-6W at 2700K-3000K warm white. The bulbs are visible through the crystals, so decorative filament or clear glass bulbs provide the best visual effect.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, the fitting is dimmable when used with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs support dimming, so check the bulb specification before purchasing if dimming is required.
How far does it stick out from the wall?
The Emberara projects 450mm from the wall surface when installed. This means it requires clear wall space without furniture, door swings or high-traffic zones within approximately 600mm of the mounting point.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry interior locations only and does not carry the splash protection required for bathroom zones. It is suitable for hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.
