The Eaton is a 2 light wall lantern with curved clear glass panels set within a rectangular antique brass frame. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass enclosure on individual brass holders, with the curved glass diffusing light outwards while the open top and bottom allow some direct spill. The frame measures 225mm wide by 280mm high with a 145mm projection from the wall.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms, living room alcoves and entrance porches where a traditional lantern aesthetic suits the interior, the Eaton provides ambient light rather than focused task illumination. The curved glass panels soften the light output compared to flat-sided lanterns, giving a warmer glow against walls and ceilings. The 145mm projection means the fitting sits proud of the wall, making it most suitable for wall sections with at least 400mm clear width to avoid the lantern feeling cramped.

The antique brass finish has a darker, aged tone compared to polished or satin brass, with subtle oxidisation and tonal variation across the metal frame that gives each piece a lived-in character. The finish pairs naturally with oak, walnut and darker wood tones, terracotta and warmer paint colours. The clear glass keeps the lantern from feeling heavy despite the substantial 1.95kg weight, and allows the bulb filaments to be visible when lit if decorative or vintage-style E14 candle bulbs are used.

The Eaton takes two E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient hallway or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb and dimmer combination you choose.

How is it mounted?

The Eaton mounts via a back plate that fixes to the wall with screws and wall plugs (supplied). The back plate conceals the cable entry point and the lantern body attaches to the back plate once the wiring is completed. A qualified electrician should install the fitting.

Can it be used outdoors?
