Description

A slim curved arm and a compact body finished in antique brass make this a quiet way to hang a light where a wide shade would crowd the room. It comes as a frame only, with the lampholder ready for an E27 lamp and a shade of your choosing, so the look is yours to set: a glass dome, a small fabric drum, a metal cone. The body measures 10cm across, and the drop is adjustable, from a short hang tight to the ceiling to a long fall over a worktop.

We reach for this over a kitchen island, in pairs either side of a bed, or above a hall table where floor space is short. The curve carries the lamp forward of the ceiling point, useful where you want light over a table or a chair without the flex dropping dead centre. It takes an E27 lamp up to 20W, and it will dim with a suitable lamp and dimmer, neither of which comes with it. We would fit a warm LED here and let the shade decide the rest.

The frame is finished in antique brass with black detailing, a warm, slightly worn tone that sits well against wood and darker paint. Dust it now and then with a dry cloth and leave metal polish and sprays alone, so the aged tone keeps its depth. Keep it to indoor rooms, well away from bathrooms and anywhere damp. It carries a one year warranty. The same curved frame is made as linear and round multi-lamp pendants in this finish, and we stock the Dreifa ceiling lights in a range of other finishes if you want the look carried on elsewhere. Lamps and shades are not included.
