Description

A slim curved bar carries three E27 lampholders in a row, finished in antique brass with black alongside it. It spans 812mm, enough to sit along the length of a table without crowding the room, and the narrow profile keeps the whole thing visually light. It comes as a frame only, so the shades are yours to choose: glass, metal or fabric, matched across the three holders or mixed for a looser, collected look.

We would hang this over a narrow dining table or a kitchen island, where several small pools of light do more work than one central pendant. It suits a long worktop or a breakfast bar just as well. The drop adjusts over a good range, so it can hang low above a table or ride higher in a hallway or over a stair. With suitable lamps and a separate dimmer it will dim, which is useful in a room that has to cook and then settle down to eat.

The antique brass is warm and aged rather than polished bright, and the black beside it stops the metal reading as fussy. Dust the bar and the lampholders with a dry cloth once the lamps are cold, and keep polishes and sprays off the aged surface, since they will lift the tone unevenly. Each holder takes up to 20W, so LED lamps are the sensible choice and give you the most freedom with shades. It carries a one year warranty. We stock the same curved bar in satin black and in satin nickel with black, and there is a curved round version of the frame if you would rather have the lamps grouped than lined up. Lamps and shades are not included.
