CyroLED Anti-Glare Bezel - White

The CyroLED Anti-Glare Bezel is an 86mm diameter white ABS ring designed to retrofit onto Knightsbridge CyroLED downlights, reducing direct glare by recessing the light source 5° behind the ceiling plane. The bezel clips onto the downlight housing after installation, creating a deeper well around the lamp that prevents direct sightlines to the LED while maintaining full light output.

Designed for residential living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and commercial offices where downlights are positioned within typical sightlines, the anti-glare bezel is particularly useful in rooms with lower ceiling heights (2.4m or below) or where downlights are installed near seating positions. The 5° recess angle cuts glare without creating a tunnel effect or significantly reducing the spread of light across the room.

The white ABS construction is lightweight and fits flush with the ceiling surface once clipped in place, presenting as a simple white ring that blends with painted plasterboard ceilings. The matt finish on the white surface prevents reflections and maintains a uniform appearance across multiple downlights in the same room. The bezel adds minimal projection beyond the downlight's existing footprint and requires no additional wiring or modification to the downlight itself.

Which downlights does this bezel fit?

The CyroLED Anti-Glare Bezel is designed to fit Knightsbridge CyroLED downlights with an 86mm cut-out. Check the specification of your existing downlight to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Does it reduce light output?

The bezel recesses the light source by 5° to reduce direct glare, but does not block or filter the light itself. The overall room illumination remains the same, with the primary change being reduced glare when looking directly at the downlight from typical viewing angles.

Can it be retrofitted to existing downlights?

Yes. The bezel clips onto compatible CyroLED downlights after they have been installed in the ceiling, without requiring any rewiring or removal of the downlight housing.

Is it suitable for fire-rated downlights?

Fire-rating depends on the downlight housing itself, not the bezel. Adding the bezel does not affect the fire-rating of a certified fire-rated downlight, provided the bezel is fitted correctly and does not obstruct ventilation or clearance zones specified by the downlight manufacturer.
