Description

The Cygnet is a 3-light wall fixture combining polished chrome arched arms with black and clear glass elements and faceted Asfour crystal pyramids. Three G4 20W halogen capsule bulbs (included) sit within blown-glass housings that mix clear glass with glossy black resin accents, creating tonal contrast against the chrome framework. The crystal pyramids hang on fine wire drops from the arms, catching and refracting light as the fixture operates.

Designed for hallways, landings, and living room feature walls, the Cygnet works in rooms where a decorative wall light adds layered accent lighting without needing ceiling space. The 400mm width and 180mm projection suit walls with clearance for guests to pass without contact, typically mounted 1.8-2m above floor level. The fixture is dimmable using a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness down to a low ambient glow for evening use.

Each of the three glass housings combines hand-blown clear glass with black resin detail applied during manufacturing, so the exact pattern of black varies slightly between individual pieces. The Asfour crystals are precision-cut in a pyramid profile, providing sharper facets and higher refractive index than standard moulded glass. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame reflects surrounding light and complements both warm and cool-toned interiors. What wall fixing is needed?

At 2kg installed weight, the Cygnet requires fixing into masonry (brick, block, solid plaster) or timber studs using appropriate wall plugs and screws. Plasterboard-only walls need a stud position or plasterboard cavity fixings rated to at least 3kg per fixing point.

Can LED G4 bulbs be used instead of halogen?

The manufacturer states the fixture is not LED/CFL compatible. This typically relates to the transformer or dimming circuit design. Using LED G4 capsules may cause flicker, reduced lifespan, or failure to dim correctly. Stick with halogen G4 bulbs for reliable operation.
