Description

The Cosmos is a large disc-shaped pendant light formed from translucent white resin, suspended on twin slim cables from a discreet ceiling fixing. The 48cm body has a softly curved profile that reads as a flattened sphere, with an integrated 24W LED at 3000K housed inside. Light passes through the resin shell rather than spilling from a single source, giving the whole disc an even, lit-from-within glow.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards, the Cosmos sits well as a single drop above a four-to-six-seat table or in a paired arrangement over a longer island. The 150cm cable length allows the disc to be hung between 700mm and 900mm above a table surface, with cables shortened on installation to suit the room. The 24W output gives ambient rather than task-level brightness, so a secondary light source is worth pairing for working surfaces.

The resin construction keeps the 48cm disc relatively lightweight compared with a glass equivalent of the same diameter, which simplifies fixing and reduces strain on the ceiling rose. The matt white finish on the front face and the slim grey edge profile read as a single continuous form when unlit, and turn into a uniformly glowing disc when switched on. The integrated LED removes any need to source a separate bulb and avoids visible shadows or hotspots inside the diffuser.
