The Cosmos is a 330mm crystal wall light with two G9 bulb fittings set behind cascading strands of Asfour square-cut crystal, mounted on a polished chrome frame. An integrated switch on the backplate allows the light to be controlled directly at the fitting, making it suitable for bedside positions or areas where a wall switch is impractical. The crystal strands are arranged in vertical chains that gather towards the centre of the fixture, creating a denser concentration of refraction where the light passes through multiple layers.

Designed for hallways, bedroom walls, and as accent lighting in living rooms, the Cosmos works as a single statement fitting or in mirrored pairs either side of a bed, dressing table or mirror. The 140mm height and 130mm projection suit most standard wall heights without dominating narrow corridors. The polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and artificial light, amplifying the sparkle from the crystal strands when the fitting is switched on.

Each crystal is a precision-cut square suspended on fine wire, so when the G9 bulbs are lit the light scatters through the facets and casts broken patterns onto the adjacent wall. The chrome backplate is shaped as a curved bar that spans the width of the fitting, with the crystal chains hung from this bar in parallel rows. The integrated switch eliminates the need for pull-cord or remote control, giving direct tactile control at the point of use.

Asfour crystal is an Egyptian lead-free crystal known for high refractive index and consistent cutting tolerances, giving each strand a uniform sparkle. The 2 x 33W maximum load accepts G9 LED capsules as well as halogen, though LED is recommended for longevity and reduced heat output near the crystal. The fitting weighs 1.1kg and mounts to a standard UK backplate with fixings concealed behind the chrome bar.

Can the crystal strands be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth for stubborn marks. Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the fitting as moisture can reach the electrical components behind the backplate.
